Christenings/Naming & Blessing/Baptism 

We ask all enquirers to consider having a service of Naming, Blessing and Thanksgiving, which does not require the parents to make solemn promises or statements of belief. For those who want it, this can be followed at a later date by Holy Baptism (Christening), which does include promises and statements of faith.

Weddings

Church of England churches are permitted to carry out weddings only if one of the couple lives in the parish, or is on the list of regular worshippers at the church. If you are not sure which parish you are in then ring albert on (01279) 425138

Wedding Invitations

For your special day we can even offer you the opportunity of having your wedding invitations hand made, at very reasonable prices, by one of our church members. All profits from the invitations go towards much needed church funds. For more information contact Sue Johnson (01279) 444717

Funerals

St. Stephen's church will always accommodate funerals, which are normally arranged through the funeral director - but again, please feel free to ring Rev. Albert on (01279) 425138
